Room 3: King Studio

My stay in room 3 at Hotel Folly was an experience that has set the standard for all my future travel! Upon walking into the Studio I was surrounded by all the comforts of home and simply in awe of how lovely and complete this unit was set up! The owners have put an incredible amount of detail into this unit and making sure their guests feel considered, relaxed and experience the ultimate comfort of staying on beautiful Folly Beach. I couldn't ask for a better vacation! The art in the unit was so wonderful too, it is so nice to stay somewhere that gives its guests a pleasurable visual experience too! I spent a lot of time taking in the art and contemplating the artists and their subject matter. As an artist myself I really appreciated this amenity. The kitchenette was absolutely perfect and really provided me with options for my extended stay, the bathroom was so spacious and had such a great shower! - I basically moved into this unit for over a week and felt like I could have stayed for so much longer. Really need to call out the bed as well - wow!!! So comfortable and it felt like luxury after a long day of exploring. All around fantastic experience and I cannot wait to come back year after year! Special thank you to the owners for adding so many details to the set up! I felt like you knew what I needed before I even arrived. :) Well done! Already planning my next visit back!

This was a great little hotel in a great location ! It was clean, bed was very comfortable and it had a big nice shower .. We will definitely be staying here again soon !

I booked at Folly Hotel at the last minute, as I just needed a place to stay for the weekend. I honestly was not expecting much. When I opened the door to the room, I was immediately glad I had booked here. My favorite part of the room was the shower! I am still obsessing over it. The room itself had everything you could need, all the way down to a sound machine. When furnishing the rooms they really thought of everything! Also it’s super close to everything. I dont make it down often but I will definitely be staying here again!

Clean and cool place to stay, and can walk most places! Bring your own K-cup coffee and sunscreen.

Straight shot to the beach and and short walk to everything down Center Street. Easy access in and out. Not a family hangout with pool, restaurant etc. but perfect for quick adult getaway for R&R. It's new so still in great shape with interesting color scheme and interior layout. I liked the place and was lucky to get 1 day stay on day of arrival. That probably won't happen again, but that's ok too.

We booked the room at the last minute for a short get away for our 31st Anniversary!! We were very happy with the cool decore, the size of the room, beautiful property, nice short walk to Folly Beach & all comforts of home! We will definitely be back!
